mSystems publication on microbiome metadata standards

A report on the microbiome metadata standards workshop hosted by the NMDC in October 2019.

We report on discussions that took place during a workshop hosted by the NMDC on October 21-24, 2019, which brought together 50 experts to discuss how data standards are supporting the microbiome sciences. Workshop participants shared challenges and brainstormed ways to address them, then provided recommendations, which the NMDC is working to support. Read the mSystems Perspective for more details.
