Brandon Kocurek @brandon_kocurek
Brandon Kocurek is a Staff Fellow Biologist with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) Office of Research. He is a microbiologist by trade and received his MS in Microbiology from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York. Brandon’s current research involves the application of metagenomic sequencing to describe human and animal food commodities, environmental swab culture enrichments from food manufacturing facilities as well as NARMS AMR surveillance in water. I am most looking forward to sharing my excitement about the potential of metadata standards and engaging the larger research community to amass the same excitement. orcid.org/0000-0001-9313-2851 |
